Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.

• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that align with the specific therapeutic goals of each client, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to address various psychological issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic and well-rounded care, participating in case reviews and sharing insights to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the utmost respect for client privacy.

• Engaging in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care and enhance your clinical skills.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LPC license in the state of Connecticut.

• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy in mental health settings.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a commitment to ongoing education and application of best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster rapport and communicate effectively with clients from all walks of life.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
