Medical Records Technician

DutiesHelpAssurance of the acquisition of complete medical information for each discharged/death patient cared for by this medical treatment facility.Review patient information on documents to prevent incomplete/inaccurate data.Ensure proper sequence of documents, presence of proper reports, all required signatures, and inclusion of sufficient data to document diagnosis, treatment rendered, results obtained and quality patient care.Maintain a list of overdue charts on a weekly basis.Retrieve inpatient records from the medical record archive system for healthcare professionals to complete deficiencies and for technicians to process coding requirements.
