Job Title: SAP Master Data Governance Lead Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 Work Model: Undecided - various options available Hours: 40.0 Overview

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead to drive enterprise-wide data governance initiatives within a complex SAP ecosystem. This role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and governing master data strategies, processes, standards, and controls across key business domains including Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and Product data.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and broader Master Data Management (MDM) principles, with a proven track record of leading data governance programs that improve data quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business decision-making. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, IT teams, and executive leadership to establish governance frameworks and ensure consistent, accurate, and trusted master data across the enterprise. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain SAP master data governance policies, standards, ownership models, and approval workflows.
• Partner with business data owners and data stewards to define data quality responsibilities and decision rights.
• Create standards for SAP fields, naming conventions, mandatory attributes, and data quality rules.
• Support the creation of a data governance council or operating cadence focused on SAP master data decisions.
• Own SAP MDG functional design, governance workflows, validation rules, change requests, roles, and integration points.
• Implement SAP MDG in coordination with business, functional, technical, and AMS teams.
• Support MDG configuration, enhancements, reporting, and workflow improvements with technical teams.
• Ensure MDG design supports manufacturing processes, product complexity, plant rollouts, and scalability.
• Lead data cleansing, duplicate reduction, and master data remediation initiatives.
• Define and monitor data quality KPIs across master data domains.
• Maintain data standards, governance procedures, and training materials; train data stewards and users.

• 7+ years SAP master data, SAP MDG, data governance, and SAP functional data experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP master data impacts across business processes.
• Experience defining data standards, workflows, data ownership, and data quality controls.
• Ability to work across business functions and translate data issues into process and system impacts.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and governance skills.
