Our agency opened in 2021 and is a growing team of four. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked for State Farm corporate, starting my career while attending Illinois State University. Im originally from Rock Falls and bring a strong understanding of the industry along with a passion for building a successful, people-focused agency. For our team, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including 15 days of PTO plus sick time, all bank holidays off, a 401(k), health benefits, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. We also offer a hiring bonus for licensed candidates and will cover licensing costs for those who are not yet licensed. Our office culture is fun, family-oriented, and fast-paced. Shay Brown - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
