Salesforce Business Analyst

Back Salesforce Business Analyst Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to support our NYS client on the Salesforce-based Administrative Adjudication Unit (AAU) Case Management Solution. The role involves facilitating discovery, gathering and documenting business requirements, and translating stakeholder needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, RTM documentation, and test scripts. The analyst will ensure that business processes, regulatory workflows, and solution requirements are clearly defined and aligned with project objectives. Duties Support business analysis activities for the Salesforce-based AAU Case Management Solution implementation. Facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements. Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, gaps, dependencies, and business rules. Develop and maintain requirements documentation, RTM, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scripts to support SDLC deliverables. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and testing teams to ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with solution design. Support testing, defect triage, user acceptance activities, and requirements clarification throughout implementation. Identify risks, issues, process impacts, and requirement changes, and communicate findings to project leadership and stakeholders. Mandatory Qualifications 5+ years of experience performing business analysis in enterprise system implementations. Experience gathering requirements for case management systems, regulatory systems, or similar enterprise solutions. Experience facilitating discovery workshops and documenting as-is and to-be business processes. Experience creating requirements traceability matrices (RTM), user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scripts. Desirable Qualifications Business analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Salesforce-related certification preferred. Familiarity with public sector adjudication or regulatory processes. Educational & Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
