End Date: 02/01/2027

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Required Licenses/Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM

Experience: 2+ years in high-risk OB nursing, Epic experience, teaching hospital experience, 200-300 births/month

Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in a busy, teaching hospital setting
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being using advanced electronic health records (Epic)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital protocols
• Respond to emergencies with confidence, maintaining high standards of safety and care
• Assist with labor processes and facilitate delivery procedures

What You Need

Required:

• Active nursing license in Louisiana or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in high-risk OB nursing
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment with 200-300 births/month

Preferred:

• Experience with high-acuity obstetric cases and emergency response
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
