This position offers a remote work environment while being part of our outpatient office framework. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to ascertain their mental health status and individual needs.

• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with effective coping strategies and tools for personal development.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring the continuity of care.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, to facilitate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Support clients in overcoming barriers to treatment and encourage adherence to therapeutic guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain updated with the latest trends and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your expertise and holistic approach will support clients at different stages in their recovery, promoting a collaborative and culturally responsive therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Experience in providing culturally responsive and inclusive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to forge strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Proven crisis intervention skills and the capability to manage complex situations effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Motion in Mind Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
