Legal Assistant

Boviet Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support the Legal and Compliance team in managing corporate legal matters, contracts, regulatory compliance, and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient legal operations while supporting business growth in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and organizational support to the Legal Department Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases Assist with corporate governance matters (board documents, resolutions, filings) Support compliance efforts related to local, state, and federal regulations Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance, Operations) on legal matters Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings Assist with risk management and internal policy documentation Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role preferred Experience supporting in-house legal teams or corporate environments is a plus Familiarity with contract management and corporate documentation Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong document drafting and proofreading abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
