Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial reporting for a complex, multi-location organization. This position is responsible for overseeing core accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting scalable processes across a geographically dispersed operation. This position is direct hire / permanent placement and will pay between $65K and $85K annually.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple business units and locationsPerform detailed general ledger analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliationsSupport timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes in a high-volume transaction environmentEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policiesAnalyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide clear explanations to finance leadershipSupport accounting for large asset portfolios, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposalsAssist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and consistent processes nationwideIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracyProvide guidance and review work of junior accounting staff as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CPA-eligible preferred3+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred Skills and CompetenciesExperience supporting a multi-entity or multi-location organizationStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to communicate complex financial information clearly and conciselyComfort working in a growing or evolving organizationDemonstrated ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindsetIf you are qualified and interested in learning more, please apply now.
