Assistant Restaurant Manager

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled. Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager Location: Ability to work at one of our client's locations - Honolulu, HI Waikiki, HI Kahala, HI Moana, HI Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $33.65/hour Experience 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field required. Prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry required. Experience in a high-volume food service establishment required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire Schedule: Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and holidays to accommodate business levels. Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Manage restaurant operations, including opening and closing shifts Use various systems, including OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro. Manage budget, including labor, food, and direct operating costs. Staff training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure the restaurant is in compliance with local alcohol beverage service requirements Handle guest complaint resolution and satisfaction. Assist with POS and general office equipment management. Position Requirements Must be available to travel to other restaurant and/or bar sites for coverage as needed. Familiarity with restaurant management software — OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro preferred. Financial management skills required — ability to analyze labor, food, and direct operating costs. Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; able to stand continuously throughout shift.
