Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is a modern, fully equipped facility located in the heart of Hillsborough. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients, setting tailored treatment goals and programs based on assessment findings.
• Deliver effective, goal-oriented physical therapy interventions while maintaining adherence to the New Jersey State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Code of Ethics.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques and tools to enhance treatment outcomes, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Document patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient needs and treatment strategies.
• Engage with patients to educate them about their treatment programs and encourage active participation in their recovery process.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals within the center and connect patients with community resources to ensure holistic support.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training, sharing insights and approaches with fellow therapists.
• Perform other duties as requested by the management to support better operations and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse range of patients, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Each therapist will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills in orthopedic rehabilitation, enabling them to effectively manage a variety of conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in providing physical therapy services, particularly in a rehabilitation or clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic physical rehabilitation and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of various ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to different age groups.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for complex cases that involve multi-disciplinary approaches.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards.
• Interest or background in mentoring junior therapists or interns.
