The position operates on a day/night rotating 3×12 schedule and requires a nurse with verified specialty experience in the cardiovascular intensive care unit setting.Required ExperienceMust have a minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location, but combined experience is acceptable).Must have 18 months of recent CVICU experience — travel experience will suffice.Required SkillsECG rhythm recognition proficiency (assessment completed during orientation; acceptable score required)Proficiency demonstrated via safeMedicate assessment (completed during orientation; acceptable score required)Education RequirementsMust possess a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license — must be in hand at time of assignment.AHA or client BLS certification required.ACLS certification required.NIHSS certification required.COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).Work Environment / Physical RequirementsTraveler must work at least every other holiday.Important NotesECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation.
