Manager Of Vendor ManagementThe Manager of Vendor Management is responsible for implementing and managing a formalized process of selecting, monitoring and auditing the Company's third-party service providers, i.e. attorney's signing agents, notaries, etc. Evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing vendors and monitor and report on Service Level Agreement compliance and other contractual covenants and obligations.What You Will DoEnsure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplishedThoroughly assess large volume of documentation to complete a vendor review in accordance with regulatory compliance and internal policyManage request for proposal and request for information process for new service providersBuild and maintain relationships with vendorsManage ongoing compliance of vendor network within company databaseConduct meetings with vendors to facilitate improvement actions on vendor's performance when necessaryEvaluate and conduct review of vendor performance scorecards on a monthly basis for existing vendorsDesign and implement vendor performance scorecards for new vendorsDesign and implement vendor management process and methods to approve vendorsTrack, measure, report and evaluate vendor performanceIdentify improvement areas internally and externally and prepare solutions for implementationManage department to attain corporate and departmental objectives as assigned by managementManage and participate in the daily functions of multiple teams for a client and/or multiple clientsManage workload issues across teams and propose and implement efficiency initiatives as deemed necessaryEnforce staff adherence to client time requirements or service level agreements (SLA's)Take responsibility for the teams' accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and completion of dutiesDevelop and maintain departmental policies and proceduresConduct staff meetings to convey operational issues and changes neededMaintain the highest levels of customer service to ensure client/vendor retention by taking direct action on issues and coordinating activities with company personnel and other departmentsRecommend systems and process enhancements to reduce processing times and improve accuracy and participate in the system enhancement signoff processMaintain open communication with team members, clients, vendors, other departments, and managementAct as a leader within the company and build and maintain employee moraleReview departmental profitability and budgetMake recommendations and interview for staffing needs, schedules, overtime, and movement of employees between teams, promotions, and work with Human Resources on evaluation of staff performance in accordance with performance management planning and review process, training of staff members, one-on-ones, classes, and coaching and developmental needsAll other duties assignedWhat You Will BringPrior experience as Vendor Services manager with 5 years of management experience in the real estate, banking, or vendor management industryHigh School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferredPrior experience with mortgage lending and/or scheduling, vendor recruiting, vendor maintenance, and appraisalsMust possess good organizational, negotiation, customer service, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical and leadership skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment to meet demandsProficient with a personal computer and Microsoft software productsWhat We OfferCompetitive payrates based on skills and experienceExtensive benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, HSA, mental health programs, Employee Assistance Program, short term disability, voluntary insurance (LTD, auto, home, life, legal, pet, identify theft), employee discountsRest and relaxation: Paid holidays and generous PTO based on tenureCommunity and philanthropy: Paid volunteer timePaid maternity and parental leaveContribute to your future: 401K plan and robust continuous learning opportunitiesWork perks program: Access to discounts that help save money in your daily lifeIs This The Ideal Location For You?Mortgage Connect is committed to offering a flexible work environment for this role.
