Senior Payroll Specialist
$38 - $45 per hourLHH
LHH is supporting a wonderful client in the education space who is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This position will require in-office work in Manhattan, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, for both hourly and salaried employees
- Run audits to resolve payroll discrepancies
- Respond to management and employee questions/requests in a timely manner
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Manage funding report for treasury team
- Ensure proper expense allocation
- Perform account reconciliations
- Assist with audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Large system experience is highly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Compensation: $38 - $45/hr, depending on experience.
