Work Environment

Our Arlington facility is a bustling outpatient office that operates in a vibrant atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork and communication among staff and patients. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work approximately 40 hours a week, with some variable weekends, ensuring that our patients receive consistent and continuous care. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology, fostering an environment conducive to effective treatment and patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough initial evaluations of patients, taking into account their medical history, functional limitations, and personal rehabilitation goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
• Engage in active communication with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and rehabilitation staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment outcomes, and billing information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide patient education on exercises, lifestyle changes, and self-care to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and interns to ensure a high standard of care and provide them with learning opportunities.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote physical therapy services and educate the public about injury prevention and health maintenance.

In our outpatient setting, our patients include individuals from diverse backgrounds, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to those seeking preventive care and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to work with various age groups, adjusting your communication style and treatment approaches accordingly to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and familiarity with documentation software.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
