Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, examining pertinent medical histories, performing specific assessments, and establishing accurate documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in setting attainable goals for recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the individual needs of each patient, demonstrating proficiency with current practices and adapting to changes within the healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams when necessary, documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the treatment plan or additional consultations.
• Perform accurate discharge planning that includes comprehensive follow-up care; maintain meticulous documentation, which encapsulates the patient's entire course of care.
• Manage your schedule effectively, participate in departmental and community marketing initiatives, and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population ranging from post-surgical patients to those recovering from sports injuries or managing chronic conditions. Your ability to tailor treatment plans to accommodate individual patient needs will be essential for improving recovery outcomes and enhancing the overall patient journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy as required by local regulations.
• Current certification in CPR through the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• No prior work experience in the field is required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with internships or clinical rotations in outpatient physical therapy settings may be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
