Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: You will lead group sessions where clients can share their stories, learn from one another, and build a supportive network.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offering one-on-one counseling, you will help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, equipping them with coping strategies tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborating with clients, you will formulate personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific needs and aspirations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adolescents and young adults, ages 18 to 30, who are often facing significant life transitions and mental health challenges. Our programming offers structured support in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), providing a safe space for clients to work through their issues collaboratively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
\n
• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health treatment is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience working with young adults in outpatient settings, as well as those familiar with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, will be considered favorably. Skills in telehealth therapy are also advantageous given our remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
