We are looking for a staff accountant for a wonderful new temp-to-hire job opportunity based out of Sacramento, CA. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on GL and journal entries. Non‑Profit industry experience Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
