Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans that address client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

• Complete necessary documentation promptly, adhering to all regulatory standards, to ensure continuity and quality of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and effective interventions.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual clients.

• Actively engage in all licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high-quality service standards.

• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance service delivery for our clients.

• Foster clear and effective communication with clients, family members, and other service providers to ensure holistic and integrated care.

• Build and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote our services and explore new opportunities for alliances and funding.

• Pursue ongoing professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and state-level meetings to stay informed about best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Additionally, you will work with clients with developmental disabilities and those recovering from brain injuries, emphasizing a tailored approach that respects each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure a solid foundation in counseling practices.

• Must possess an independent LMHC license granted by the state board in Florida.
