Business Development Associate – PharMerica Overview PharMerica is a full‑service pharmacy solution provider that serves senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, public health organizations and post‑acute care organizations. We focus on delivering high quality medication services and improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions. Responsibilities Cold call potential clients and conduct multiple outbound calls daily. Understand client needs and offer appropriate solutions and support. Research and qualify leads from business directories, web searches, digital resources, digital campaigns, conferences, references and tradeshows. Create and maintain contact lists and databases of prospective clients. Present and deliver information to potential clients for outside sales follow‑up. Answer client questions and manage follow‑up call inquiries. Collaborate with the sales team to transfer leads and advance the sales process. Track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics and sales figures. Maintain client information in Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Excel. Close pre‑qualified appointments for the sales team. Implement processes to gather incumbent pharmacy competitor information and ensure timely update in the CRM. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or equivalent experience.

• Work Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, customer service or a related business field.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; high volume outbound calling; strong phone presence; meticulous attention to detail; ability to multitask and prioritize; competency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and CRM applications.
• Behavioral Competencies: Self‑motivated, self‑directed, persuasive, goal‑oriented; strong listening and communication skills; ability to connect with potential clients and customers.
• Desired: Preference for fast‑paced environments where accuracy is critical; eagerness to expand client base; energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor; effective time management.
