Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Looking for an opportunity to make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic middle school environment? A contract position is available for the 2026–2027 school year, working with approximately 50 middle school students in need of speech and language support. You’ll play a vital role in guiding students’ communication development and collaborating closely with educators, staff, and families in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Texas SLP license is required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Previous work with middle school-aged students preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language evaluations, direct and indirect therapy, and overall case management for a caseload of about 50 students
• Participate actively in IEP development, implementation, and review, ensuring compliance with educational standards
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date records and documentation for all student interactions and progress
• Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's unique needs
• Attend relevant meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
• Work onsite on a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), ensuring consistent availability for students
