Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (MS/Tele) – Nights, travel assignment. This position supports an adult inpatient MS/Tele unit with Neuro/Ortho focus, including orthopedic, neurology, and stroke care. Start date 06/29/2026, duration: Weeks, shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $2,049–$2,155. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This is a travel - temporary assignment in an acute care setting. Unit operates with telemetry monitoring and a patient population typically managed on a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adults on the MS/Tele unit, focusing on orthopedic and neurologic conditions, post-surgical care, and stroke recovery.
- Perform telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, intravenous access management (including PICC line care), and PCA administration as indicated.
- Administer medications, assess and document patient responses, monitor vitals, and respond to clinical changes and alarms promptly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust care plans; document observations and outcomes in the electronic charting system (EPIC).
- Provide perioperative and postoperative care for total joint replacements and stroke patients; maintain isolation precautions and PPE protocols as required.
- Support patient mobility, rehabilitation activities, and discharge planning; participate in daily rounds and patient education.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain accurate patient counts, and uphold infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in the United States; pending license accepted per program policy
- Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required; ACLS may be required per system policy
- Experience: 2+ years RN adult inpatient experience preferred; first-time travel nurses accepted
- Education: RN (licensure required); no specific degree beyond licensure stated
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, PICC line management, PCA familiarity, stroke and total joint replacement care, isolation precautions, EPIC charting
- Ability to work in an acute inpatient MS/Tele setting; willingness to float as described; non-local candidates only (no local within 75 miles)
