This contract role runs through May 2027, offering you the flexibility to build your own schedule while supporting SLPs managing larger caseloads. You’ll work across up to three schools in the Kansas City, KS area each week, tailoring your workday to best meet student needs and your own preferences.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Kansas
• Prior experience providing speech-language services in a K-12 or school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort traveling between multiple school sites as assigned
• Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance of a licensed SLP

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct communication therapy to K-12 students as directed by supervising SLPs
• Gather data and document student progress toward individualized education plan (IEP) goals
• Support implementation of treatment plans and therapy activities
• Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff regarding student needs
• Organize your weekly schedule based on assignment and caseload requirements
• Maintain compliance with district and state regulations regarding therapy support
