Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students by working with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) across multiple schools in the Kansas City, KS area. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll deliver essential communication therapy, support larger caseloads, and help empower student progress throughout the academic year.

This contract position runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027. You'll partner closely with supervising SLPs and enjoy autonomy in crafting your weekly schedule—managing direct therapy services, assisting with documentation, and traveling between up to three campuses. This flexibility allows you to select which schools you visit each day, ensuring you find the best flow for your workweek.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an SLPA program and active state licensure/certification
• Experience providing support to SLPs—school-based experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Capable of working independently, scheduling, and traveling between multiple campuses
• Detail-oriented when it comes to documentation and data collection

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct communication therapy under SLP supervision
• Support larger SLP caseloads throughout the district
• Collect session data and contribute to student progress documentation
• Implement student treatment plans and follow legal/ethical guidelines
