Step into a role supporting K-12 students by providing impactful communication therapy across multiple campuses. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will collaborate closely with licensed SLPs, helping manage larger caseloads within a dynamic school district near Overland Park, KS.

Bring your expertise to several schools, with the flexibility to structure your weekly schedule based on your preferences. Expect to work under supervision while delivering meaningful therapy, collecting progress data, and reinforcing individualized treatment plans. The district values autonomy, allowing you to select and visit between one and three campuses each week.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Kansas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience or familiarity working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Ability to effectively support SLPs with comprehensive caseload management
• Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
• Willingness to travel between multiple sites within the district

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct communication therapy to students under SLP guidance
• Collect and report data on student progress and session outcomes
• Support and help implement treatment plans as part of a collaborative care team
• Communicate with educators and caregivers to track student needs and growth
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
