Step into a collaborative educational environment as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), supporting K-12 students and working closely with experienced SLPs. This school-based contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21st, 2027, and is ideal for professionals eager to contribute to students’ communication skills across diverse school settings.

You’ll have the autonomy to design your weekly and daily schedule, commuting between one to three school campuses and tailoring your caseload management based on personal preference, while under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLPA license in the state of Kansas
• Experience providing speech-language services in a school environment is preferred
• Knowledge of K-12 student needs and IEP protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation for inter-campus travel

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students under the guidance of a supervising SLP
• Collect accurate data and maintain documentation on student progress
• Implement treatment goals as outlined in student IEPs
• Support SLPs by managing assigned caseload tasks and adapting to varying school needs
• Communicate regularly with SLPs, teachers, and school staff to ensure coordinated services
