This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work across up to three schools in the Olathe, KS area, collaborating with SLPs and enhancing student outcomes in diverse educational settings.

You’ll have substantial autonomy to create your own schedule, determining how many schools you visit each week or day, balancing your caseload under flexible parameters. As a valued SLPA, your focus will be on nurturing student skills and contributing to a professional, supportive team.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Organizational abilities for managing multiple school assignments and schedules
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students as assigned by supervising SLPs
• Assist in implementing individual treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
• Travel between 1–3 schools per week within the district
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families
• Support SLPs with larger caseloads, ensuring high-quality service and continuity of care
