Job Title: Office Manager & Family Liaison Location: Orondo School District, Orondo, WA Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Compensation: $25.04 – $30.15 per hour (DOE) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, Washington State Retirement plan, 13 holidays, 12 sick days, and 10 vacation days per year Position Overview The Office Manager & Family Liaison oversees essential school office functions while providing welcoming service to students, families, staff, and the community. This role also serves as the Migrant Program Records Clerk/Recruiter and the McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison, supporting district family engagement programs. Key Responsibilities Family Engagement & Advocacy: Connect families to school/community resources; coordinate Title 1, Migrant, and 21st Century programs; recruit and complete eligibility revalidations for migrant children. Office Operations: Greet visitors, answer phones, coordinate attendance and transportation changes, publish weekly parent newsletters, and assist with website and social media updates. Administrative & Records Support: Maintain migrant student records (MSIS), process enrollment/choice transfers, assist with student records, and support building scheduling, inventory, and budgeting. District Support: Serve as School Registrar; assist with state reporting (CEDARS/EDS, P223); provide backup for accounts payable and school board meeting preparation. Required Qualifications High School Diploma Bilingual/Bi-literate in English and Spanish (excellent oral and written communication in both) Strong interpersonal, data entry, and technology skills Must pass Washington State Patrol & FBI fingerprint background check Preferred Qualifications Previous office or reception experience (preferably in K-12 education) Experience with Skyward/Qmlativ, Microsoft Office/Excel, and educational diversity programs AA or BA degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Orondo School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Vance Airscoop
