Senior Associate/Counsel in Real Estate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate/Counsel in Real Estate to join their team in New York, United States. This role involves working in a hybrid environment with mandatory office attendance three days a week, including Mondays. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lease negotiations for office, retail, and other commercial properties. Duties Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial lease agreements. Represent landlords and tenants in lease negotiations. Support acquisitions, sales, and financing transactions. Provide strategic legal guidance to developers and property owners. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients with excellent writing and advocacy skills. Requirements 8-12+ years of real estate practice experience. Strong background in lease negotiations. Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in legal research and case management software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York. Skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
