Customer Engineer

Responsibilities Assist Seatec Leisure Superintendent with day-to-day tasks and coordination. During peak/leave periods assist Seatec NavCom Sales and coordination team with service arrangements. Focus on customer support, commissioning and service onboard vessels managed by V. and external customers. Cover service activities worldwide and maintain good relationship with our clients. Proper preparation and execution of work assigned and ensure performance are met at all times. Provides remote guidance / product support to customers and backend support to our Service Coordination center in Chennai/India and Europe. Assist our sales department with technical issues. Handle pre and post administrative work. Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications Technical background in marine electronics is required, preferably with experience on Navigation, Communication and Satellite equipment. Experience from cruise vessels or mega yachts preferred. Experience with Onboard IT systems (Architecture and support) Relevant working experience in maritime industry is preferred. Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills, result-oriented and self-motivated. Self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems. Service minded with passion and patience for handling customers. On-board system process knowledge. Ability to work independently and take ownership.
