Professional Search Group OC is partnering with a growing  Telecom Order Processing Specialist  and innovative IT organization in Orange County to identify a highly organized and proactive  Telecom Order Processing Specialist . This role is critical to supporting day-to-day business operations and driving efficiency across multiple functional areas.

Position Summary
The  Telecom Order Processing Specialist will serve as a central resource supporting operational workflows, financial processes, and cross-functional coordination. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the overall health of the business by managing accounting-related activities, overseeing project execution, coordinating with vendors and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication across departments.

Telecom Order Processing Specialist Responsibilities

• Process and manage telecom/carrier orders from quote through provisioning
• Communicate directly with carriers
• Obtain and review carrier quotes based on service requirements, location, and bandwidth
• Prepare contracts and submit carrier orders
• Track orders and follow up with carriers through installation/provisioning
• Research existing circuits, legacy services, and billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate carrier/circuit inventory
• Serve as the day-to-day liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers
• Understand and communicate basic telecom concepts including circuits, fiber, multimode fiber, MPO/MPOE, etc.

Telecom Order Processing Specialist Qualifications

• Working knowledge of accounting principles with the ability to interpret financial reports
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Openness to utilizing AI tools and technology to improve workflows
• Experience in the telecommunications or carrier industry is a plus, but not required
