Key Requirements:

• Active California credential in mild/moderate special education is required
• Experience working with students in grades 4–6 preferred
• Skilled in individualized education plan (IEP) implementation and progress documentation
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to adapt and work collaboratively as caseloads are determined

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to mild/moderate students in a small group or individual setting
• Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans to meet specific student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive environment
• Document student progress, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and attend IEP meetings
• Cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere that encourages student growth and independence
