Work Environment

The work setting is an outpatient clinic environment that encourages collaboration and team dynamics. Our facility is designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring advanced physiotherapy equipment and serene treatment areas. The work schedule is flexible, offering opportunities to work Monday through Friday or four ten-hour days. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to creating a part-time schedule to accommodate individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
• Guide and assist patients in both active and passive exercises, targeting muscle re-education, activities of daily living, and functional mobility.
• Engage with patients' families to provide education on necessary care plans and progress updates.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians and specialty practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from various orthopedic conditions. This includes post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By employing evidence-based practices and personalized approaches, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the recovery journeys of patients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or the equivalent from a recognized international program.
• Valid California State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
