Work Environment

Your work hours will primarily be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assessing movement patterns, strength, range of motion, and physical limitations related to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Collaborate with each patient to create tailored rehabilitation plans that align with their specific goals, medical history, and individual capabilities.
• Implement Treatment: Utilize evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Patient Education: Provide detailed education on patient conditions, expected progress, and empower patients with home exercise programs and strategies for lifestyle modifications.
• Track Progress: Monitor patients' recoveries through functional outcomes, modifying treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery results.
• Collaborate with a Team: Work together with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care delivery.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough, accurate records for all patient interactions and treatments, ensuring adherence to clinic policies and state regulations.
• Stay Current: Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training to stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. By understanding each patient's unique experiences and challenges, you will provide compassionate and tailored care, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation journey and restoring their independence and functionality.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid California Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with manual therapy techniques.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and their families.
• Adept at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding patient care and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification.
• Experience in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating familiarity with protocols relating to various surgical interventions.
• Knowledge of modalities such as dry needling, ultrasound therapy, and electrical stimulation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
