Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of new patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to facilitate recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Leading both land-based and aquatic therapy sessions, ensuring safety and effectiveness throughout each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families about conditions, treatment methods, and exercises to be performed at home.
• Documenting patient encounters, treatment outcomes, and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices and innovations in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including both pre- and post-surgical cases, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and lower-level neurological issues. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of California.

Preferred Experience
