Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, integrating medical histories and diagnostic information to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, focusing on establishing achievable goals and ensuring progress towards functional independence.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes and feedback.
• Educate patients on wellness strategies, injury prevention, and effective home exercise prescriptions to maintain and enhance their physical health post-therapy.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians, physical therapy assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system for efficient and accurate documentation of patient encounters, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve engaging with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Current and active California Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory, with preference given to candidates holding advanced degrees (DPT or MPT).
