Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center in Oxnard embodies a modern healthcare atmosphere, designed to foster healing and recovery. As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, engaging directly with patients in a dynamic and collaborative setting. This role primarily involves direct patient interaction, allowing you to establish meaningful relationships and effectively monitor patient progress. Working Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, you will enjoy a balanced schedule that promotes both professional dedication and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy by effectively managing the entire therapeutic process for a designated group of patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement tailored care plans that promote engagement and goal achievement.
• Provide direct physical therapy treatments for patients, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care while utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress, utilizing a variety of modalities as appropriate.
• Educate patients and their families or caregivers on prescribed exercises, therapeutic devices, and injury prevention strategies for optimal recovery.
• Coordinate daily treatment assignments and manage caseload priorities to ensure effective patient flow and resource allocation within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including both adults and children, with various orthopedic and post-surgical conditions. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, ensuring that our team of therapists is equipped to handle everything from acute care to long-term rehabilitation needs. You will utilize your expertise to support individuals at different stages of their recovery journey, contributing meaningfully to their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Ability to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a collaborative approach to therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
