Work Environment

This position is onsite and operates within an outpatient office environment, catering primarily to individuals with private medical insurance. You will work alongside a team comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a clear schedule for work-life balance while allowing for substantial interaction with our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans that reflect the goals and needs of each patient, ensuring they are effectively engaged in their rehabilitation journey.
• Manage a patient load, typically seeing one patient per hour, enabling you to provide quality, personalized care tailored to each individual.
• Elicit prior experiences and knowledge to implement cost-effective treatments that enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at reducing reliance on medications, thereby exploring non-surgical alternatives for appropriate cases.
• Incorporate innovative treatment methods and evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes, always prioritizing safety and efficacy.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, enhancing their commitment to achieving optimal physical functioning.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuous improvement in therapeutic techniques.
• Document treatment protocols and patient progress meticulously to track outcomes and inform future treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronicpain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; an advanced Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Exemplary manual therapy skills and a strong understanding of various treatment modalities.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective exercise programs catered to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT to support efficient documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a clear history of clinical success and patient engagement.
• Further training or certifications in specialized therapy techniques or modalities will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting the experience and expertise of the right candidate.
