The Center for Healing and Growth is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Joliet, Illinois. This full-time remote position offers the unique opportunity to work within a detox center, providing essential therapeutic support to individuals seeking recovery. Work Environment

This full-time position allows for remote work, providing flexibility in your schedule while ensuring that you remain connected to a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours to meet client needs. Flexibility in your schedule will be necessary to accommodate client visits, ensuring continuous care and support during critical moments in their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, identifying emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their recovery.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and preferences.
• Provide counseling and emotional support, guiding clients through their journey of recovery and helping them navigate life transitions.
• Advocate for clients' rights and ensure access to necessary community resources, enhancing their support system.
• Coordinate care by working alongside an interdisciplinary team including healthcare professionals, nurses, and caregivers to optimize treatment strategies.
• Conduct regular check-ins to monitor client progress, adapt care strategies, and address any concerns or challenges in their recovery.
• Facilitate communication between families and clients, helping to mediate conflicts and foster understanding.
• Educate clients and families on available resources, such as support groups and community programs to enhance their social engagement and quality of life.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, and client interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with current social work practices, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring all services are delivered in a professional and ethical manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position is focused on serving individuals undergoing detoxification, often navigating their journey through addiction recovery. Our clients may face a range of psychosocial challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and social isolation. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals, helping them build resilience and connect to wider community resources that foster long-term recovery and holistic health.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in social work, ideally in a community or detox setting.
• In-depth knowledge of social work principles, particularly as they relate to addiction and recovery.
• Exceptional assessment, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven capacity to empathize with clients and their families, demonstrating compassion and rapport-building skills.
• Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox facility or mental health service setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Proven track record of effective multi-disciplinary collaboration in healthcare environments.

Compensation and Benefits
