Human Resources Generalist

What You’ll Do As the Human Resources Generalist, you’ll oversee all core HR functions while partnering closely with leadership and accounting. Responsibilities include: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time (Paycor experience is a plus) Partner with Accounting on payroll reporting, reconciliations, spreadsheets, and special projects Lead full-cycle recruiting for both manufacturing (approximately 60%) and professional positions (approximately 40%) Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug screens, and new hire orientation Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, disability, and voluntary benefits Manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, Workers' Compensation, and other leave programs while ensuring compliance Maintain employee personnel files and HR records Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations and provide guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures Assist with performance management, compensation reviews, handbook updates, and policy administration Support annual benefits renewals and 401(k) administration Stay current on employment laws and HR best practices Help coordinate employee appreciation events and company celebrations What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred 4+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience Strong payroll processing experience (payroll is a significant part of this role) Experience recruiting for manufacturing or similar operational environments preferred Hands‑on experience with FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and leave administration Comfortable working closely with Accounting on payroll-related reporting and processes Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and payroll reporting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an approachable, employee-focused style Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
