Position Purpose: The Claims Assistant is responsible for providing technical, administrative and clerical support for our Third-Party Administrator (TPA), handling our workers’ compensation, general liability and pharmacy claims.

Main responsibilities: Claim Set up in the system. Gather information requested and approved by the Oversight Manager for employee contact information. Pull requests from various company sites to provide to our TPA Provide administrative support in the creation of new files. Obtain pull logs. Obtain maintenance and construction information. Obtain property lease agreements/CAM/property manager inquiries. Summons/Complaint review and coordination of new claim set up or response. Subpoena investigation, routing Discovery inquiries including documents, plans/diagrams etc via various internal partners Inquiries for DC accidents to include reports, pics/cam footage etc. Vendors contact information from Sedgwick to tender claims to manufacturer. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge and ability to use risk management claims system. Proficient in reading skills. Good oral and written communication skills.
