In this remote position, you will be part of a collaborative outpatient office environment, interfacing regularly with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to addiction recovery. Our flexible scheduling accommodates the diverse needs of both our clients and staff, allowing for evening and weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to gain insights into clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health status, utilizing tools such as standardized screening questionnaires.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address each client’s unique challenges with addiction and mental health, regularly reviewing and adjusting plans based on progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborate with fellow team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to ensure integrated and holistic care for our clients.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families to foster involvement in the recovery process, offering guidance on coping strategies and resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies while ensuring client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults who are facing substance abuse challenges along with co-occurring mental health issues. Many clients may have experienced trauma or significant life stressors, making a compassionate and understanding approach essential to your therapeutic work.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or hands-on experience in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for managing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, alongside excellent therapeutic and counseling skills.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork capabilities, necessary for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
