Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients, ensuring that each strategy aligns with their specific mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to various demographics including individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in documentation practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, conferences, and training to remain informed of the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Marina Insight, you will primarily serve clients who experience a variety of mental health issues, often with limited access to traditional mental health care services. Our clients include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health disorders. Your work will directly influence their ability to navigate personal challenges and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a mental health setting.

• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client populations.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related clinical technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
