Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, evaluating their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions focusing on the emotional challenges associated with aging, such as grief, loss, and life transitions.

• Develop and implement specialized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances of each client, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in collaborative care with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to create and adjust personalized care plans for geriatric residents.

• Provide family counseling and support, equipping loved ones with strategies to enhance the emotional well-being of their older relatives.

• Facilitate cognitive stimulation programs geared towards maintaining and improving mental acuity among seniors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
