Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify the mental and emotional needs of patients, with a focus on trauma-related issues.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Engage in active listening with patients to understand their challenges, facilitating a safe space for them to express their concerns.

• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Provide education and resources to both patients and staff regarding effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma.

• Coordinate care with social services, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Stay current with best practices in the field through ongoing professional development and education, maintaining National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, many of whom experience significant distress and disruption in their lives due to emotional and psychological challenges. By providing empathetic counseling, you will help these individuals build resilience, establish healthier coping mechanisms, and work toward achieving their personal recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with trauma patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
