Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, couples, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, facilitating effective treatment tracking and documentation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurse practitioners—to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and peer consultation to stay abreast of emerging mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a patient population that includes adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Many of our clients come from underserved communities, allowing you to contribute to equitable access to essential mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of New York is mandatory.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential to ensure familiarity with therapeutic practices and patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, dependent on your experience and caseload.
