Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment, yet is deeply connected to our intensive care operations at the Detox Center. While working from home, you will maintain regular communication with team members via tele-health platforms, case management software, and digital communication tools. Your role will be crucial in coordinating care, facilitating virtual therapy sessions, and contributing to our collective effort in providing exceptional mental health services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify clients’ needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific challenges.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other modalities to guide clients towards recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and providing a supportive community for clients managing similar issues.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists to create integrated care strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each patient.

• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate intervention strategies, providing immediate support and resources to clients in distress.

• Educate clients on their mental health concerns, treatment alternatives, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and updates on client progress while fostering a collaborative environment.

• Stay current with trends and research in psychotherapy to apply the latest practices and enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients navigating a wide array of mental health conditions, particularly those in need of substance use treatment during their recovery process. You will work with diverse populations, including individuals at different stages of their healing journey, providing care that is respectful of cultural and personal backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within New York State.
\n
• Strong theoretical knowledge of various mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.

• A demonstrated ability to execute comprehensive assessments and develop effective, results-driven treatment plans.

• Experience delivering psychotherapy to both individuals and groups, particularly within an outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems as well as various productivity applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
