Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This involves gathering client history, using standardized assessment tools, and determining symptom severity.

• Design individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients that reflect their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to client requirements. Ensure that interventions are practical and focused on real-world applicability.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and available resources to empower them towards managing their mental health.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and outcome measures to ensure effective interventions.

• Partner with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client's mental health are addressed.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorders, incorporating new findings into clinical practice.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all applicable standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals experiencing various mood disorders, primarily in outpatient settings. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or other relevant credentials in the state of New York.

• Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an attractive sign-on bonus.
