Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored individual and group counseling sessions, ensuring that direct service hours are maintained effectively and scheduled regularly.

• Complete comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to gather essential information for treatment planning.

• Facilitate the development of individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients to establish their goals and involve them actively in their recovery journey.

• Develop aftercare and discharge plans that consider the unique needs of each patient to ensure smooth transitions post-treatment.

• Provide supervision and feedback to junior staff and collaborate across disciplines to improve service delivery.

• Engage in other related duties as delegated by your supervisor to enhance departmental function.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes adults, children, and families dealing with various issues related to mental health and substance abuse. Your focus will be on delivering culturally competent care and ensuring each person feels understood, respected, and motivated in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or an equivalent field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Ability to work independently while being an effective team collaborator.

• Demonstrated expertise in providing marriage and family therapy services to diverse populations.

• Possess a positive, non-judgmental attitude towards patients, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
