Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, employing techniques from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy.

• Work closely with case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s wellbeing are addressed.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, directly supporting clients experiencing acute distress and helping them navigate emergency situations.

• Engage in community outreach efforts, including workshops and seminars, to enhance mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on diverse populations within the Wilkes-Barre area, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will connect with clients from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds, ensuring that treatment approaches are culturally sensitive and client-centered.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

• Strong organizational capabilities to effectively manage caseloads and documentation.
\n
• Cultural competence, demonstrating the ability to work with clients from various backgrounds effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
